Pass it on...

My pet peeve of an organisation. Everyone sing with me(to the tune of Queen's
Princes of the Universe)

Here they are, porn could be king
But they're the bastards of the uuuuuuuuniverse

Here we belong, fighting to survive
In a country with the hiiiiiighest phone costs
(ok doesn't work, humour me...QL)

And here they are they're the assholes of our blog-o-sphere
Here they stay, making us fight for survival
They've come to be the rulers of our world

They are immortal, they have inside them tons of bling
They have no rival, no spam can be their equal
Not taking us to the future of the world...

Okay, I can't think of anymore now. But Telkom sucks.

Morons.

Idiots.

(Swears in gujerati, english, afrikaans and sotho)

Btw, I've just received a lovely book called "My name is Red" :D
Going to start reading it when I'm done with my revisitation of Lestat and Louis.

i've been following the SNO from way back in 2003, documenting its strategic alliance with eskom and sentech and now revelling in its new found wealth with the Tata group- but honestly speaking- come april, and i doubt that telkom will be given a run for its money- they have already accumulated huge economies of scale, no doubt by being a government parastatal and this will make it impossible for a SNO to play catch up. Telkom has admitted that their broadband is too high, but i mean thats like George Bush saying "whoops, no WMD's, sorry, we fucked up!" its not gonna change anything. remember when cell c entered the market? we heralded it as the fall off the great oligopoly of MTN and vodacom? it didnt exactly pan out that way as Cell C just became a 'strategic partner' as opposed to being a fully fledged competitor. What we need is a big Multinational company like TelstraClear to come in

Here's an interesting figure - South Africa has 5 million fixed land lines, New Zealand has only 1.8 million - yet all their local calls are free- somethings really messed up with our business model

BTW - loved your song - my mate and i do that at times- but our changes are generally more lascivious
